WHAT WE GROW

FRUITS & VEGETABLES

Buckwheat’s grows many different crops throughout the season that begin from organic and non-GMO seeds sown in our greenhouse. We enjoy experimenting with unique varieties that capture the fresh taste of spring, the sweetness of summer, and the hardiness of fall.

FRESH CUT FLOWERS & TRANSPLANTS

Colorful bouquets of seasonal flowers are available in limited quantities at the Bellaire Farmers Market, or as an add-on through Daybreak Dreamfarm’s CSA. China asters, marigolds, snapdragons, cosmos & zinnias are some of our favorite blooms to include.

In the spring and early summer months, we have various herbs and vegetable transplants available for sale at the farmers market and online preorder through the Torch Lake Co-Op.

The plants we are most proud to sell are our heirloom tomatoes. The seeds of these tomatoes were passed onto us by our good friend Mary, who has grown & saved these varieties in Antrim County for over ten years. She received the same seeds from a friend of hers who grew these varieties locally for decades. The plants are vigorous, disease resistant & bear delicious, resilient fruits.
